ezpcrecycling.com has recently received this email from Tom Hyatt in the PA DEP. Victor, The Department does not provide letters saying companies are DEP compliant. During our visit with you several months ago, the Department determined that the activities we saw being performed at your location at that time did not need a permit. Since there is nothing we are currently regulating at your facility, there is nothing we can say about you being compliant. If you want to have people call me, I will explain to them that we saw no need for you to obtain a permit because you were not treating or processing waste at that location. I will then refer them to our web page for a list of questions developed by EPA to ask people who recycle electronics to make sure that their electronics are being properly recycled. Please note that if the scope or type of your operations changes at your location in Sinking Spring, you may need a permit to cover those activities.
